About
2018 – Founded by two investment professionals with a heart for the next generation, Next Gen Investors Organisation (NGIO) was established to empower students with practical investing knowledge and experience. NGIO is a student-led organisation built to make investing more accessible, while giving the next generation the opportunity to learn, connect, and grow through real-world investment experiences.
2019 – We set up our first program, the Gen Z Value Investing Program, and recruited our very first batch of 12 students. They came from Singapore, Malaysia, and Greater China.
2020 – We established partnerships with universities globally to further our outreach.
2021 – We officially incorporated Next Gen Investors Endowment as a non-profit entity in Singapore and launched the Next Gen ESG Investing Program.
2022 – We co-hosted the SMU Next Gen ESG Investing Conference with Singapore Management University’s EYE Investment Club. We also piloted our Investoon Game Show initiatives at Singapore community clubs.
2023 – We co-hosted the SMU Next Gen ESG Investing Conference with Singapore Management University's Sustainable Investment Club and built the Z Club strong, establishing partnerships.
2024 – We Launched the brand new Investing Tonight Show with our flagship Investoon and launched the Z Club Academy. It is also our third year streak co-hosting the SMU-Next Gen ESG Investing Conference, and second with the Singapore Management University's Sustainable Investment Club.
2025 – We were given the opportunity to partner with PhillipCapital to be part of an interesting panel to discuss the topic 'Next Gen Investors: Engaging the New Wave' at the Singapore Fintech Festival 2025.
2026 – We were honoured to be invited to run a booth at the Singapore Management University Financial Literacy, Inclusion and Technology (SMU FinLit) Carnival 2026 where financial literacy became fun and accessible to tertiary students across Singapore over 2 days. We introduced Next Gen and simple financial concepts to more than 50 students across polytechnics and universities at our booth.

Director
Gordon YEO
Gordon is a Partner at M45 Capital Partners, bringing more than 14 years of investment expertise in institutional public equities investing.
Prior to M45 Capital Partners, Gordon spent over 14 years at Arisaig Partners, a highly regarded and research-driven Asian equities investment firm backed by leading global institutional investors. During his tenure, Gordon served as Co-CEO, Partner and Chair of the Investment Committee.
Gordon graduated from Singapore Management University with a Master of Information Technology in Business and a double degree in Sociology and Strategic Management. He is currently completing the Executive MBA programme at the PBC School of Finance at Tsinghua University. He is also a CFA Charterholder and Chartered Accountant (Singapore).
Co-founder & Director
Tiffany Liu
Tiffany Liu is the Co-Founder of Next Gen Investors Endowment, a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing investor education. She also serves as a capital allocator at Star Magnolia Capital, a family endowment office focused on long-term asset growth.
Tiffany earned a dual bachelor’s degree in International Relations and English Language from Tsinghua University, where she was awarded the Singapore Federation of Chinese Clans Scholarship and the Beijing Municipal Government Scholarship for International Students. She also holds an MBA from the University of Oxford, where she deepened her expertise in asset management and sustainable investment.
In 2024, Tiffany was recognized by the Financial Times as one of the "Women of the Future: 50 Rising Stars in ESG," celebrating her contributions to advancing environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles through her work at Next Gen Investors Endowment.

Dennis HONG
Dennis is Founder and CEO at ShawSpring Partners. He began his investment career at the Yale University Investments Office after graduating from Yale with a B.A. in Ethics, Politics & Economics in 2005. Prior to founding ShawSpring, Dennis worked at Altimeter Capital Management and Matrix Capital Management. Dennis attended Harvard Business School’s MBA Program, but departed after completing his first year to launch ShawSpring.
Business Manager
Persis HOO
Persis is the Business Manager of Next Gen Investors Endowment.
She graduated from the Singapore Management University with a Bachelor of Laws and practised for a few years before founding her own startup. Outside of work, Persis is also a young mother and believes that women and mothers should pursue financial independence through investing.
